Kotak Bank rejigs senior management roles

MUMBAI: Ashok Vaswani, MD & CEO of private sector lender Kotak Mahindra Bank who took over on Jan 1 this year, on Monday announced top-level changes in the bank’s top management.
KVS Manian, a veteran with the bank and whole-time director now, has been designated as the joint MD, the bank said in a statement to the bourses. Shanti Ekambaram, another bank veteran and also a whole-time director, was designated the deputy MD. Both changes are effective March 1, the bank said.
The bank appointed Devang Gheewalla to succeed Jaimin Bhatt as the group’s chief financial officer starting April 1, after Bhatt retires on March 31. The bank elevated Milind Nagnur as its chief operating officer, effective April 1. It also promoted Paul Parambi as the group’s chief risk officer, effective March 1, the release said.
